Monitor Technician
Performs cardiac monitoring duties under the supervision of the registered nurse.
Communicates relevant information appropriately.
Provides and documents patient care.
Practices Infection Control.
Education &
Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
One year experience as a Monitor Technician preferred.
Candidate must pass a basic arrhythmia exam or course and have the ability to recognize critical rhythms.
Medical terminology course preferred.
Licensure & Certification:
BLS certified within 3 months of employment on this unit required.
Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the state of Maryland preferred.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
