The Assistant Director of Admissions for Recruitment is the leader of a team of enrollment advisors that services the tri-county area and who are the primary first contacts for the college for all prospective students. The Assistant Director will be responsible for training, supervising and evaluating the team of advisors who work with all incoming students to assist them in choosing their program of study and the career pathways available to them at CSM. The Assistant Director is responsible for assisting in the development of a comprehensive college recruitment plan that complements the college's strategic enrollment management plan. Primary duties include: implementation of the annual recruitment plan, working with the marketing office in development of promotional materials and advertising campaigns for recruitment events, logistically planning and implementing new and current recruitment initiatives, and representing, conducting, or assisting the college at recruitment activities.
The work schedule for this position is 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., hours subject to change during peak recruitment periods.

Required Skills
Bachelor's degree in related field
Two years' experience in enrollment services, college admissions, or in a student services setting.
Two years supervisory experience
Prior experience in a community college preferred
Demonstrates ability to work effectively with students, peers, and community.
Superior interpersonal skills required dealing with the general public, outside agencies and colleagues in a dynamic environment.
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Effective problem solving skills
