Performs a variety of patient care technical and clerical activities regarding patients assigned to One East and the Birthing Center. Patients served include Neonate thru Adult-Geriatric. Performs delegated nursing tasks that enhance the nursing process. Documents patient care. Performs clerical duties. Ensures par level supplies. Practices Infection Control. Must have current Maryland CNA license and BLS certification. Currently licensure as a Certified Nursing Assistant is required. Applications with pending licensure will not be accepted. Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required. One year experience as a CNA required. (Consideration may be given to applicant with CNA license after one semester of Nursing Training.) Successful completion of a Scrub Technician Rotation in Operating Room preferred.
Licensure & Certification:
Current licensure as a Certified Nursing Assistant in the state of Maryland required. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
