Job Description
Make a difference in a child''s life! The College of Southern Maryland is seeking a dynamic Early Childhood Teacher at the St. Charles Children''s Learning Center located on the La Plata campus. Responsibilities include developing and implementing age appropriate curriculum using Creative Curriculum; creating weekly lesson plans, calendars, and daily schedule; performing child observations and assessments; conducting parent/teacher conferences; maintaining a healthy, safe environment; and promoting positive, open communication with families, children, and staff.
This is a 40 hour per week position that must meet the scheduling needs of the center. Flexibility is required. The center operates Monday - Friday 6:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.

Required Skills
Bachelor degree in Education, Administration, or related field and two to four years of instructional experience; or Associates degree in Education, Administration, or related field and seven years of instructional experience.
Meets and maintains Child Care Teacher qualifications.
Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills in working with diverse populations and organizations.
Demonstrated effective written and verbal communication skills.
CPR/First Aid Certified

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
