Job Summary Under moderate supervision, the MRI Technologist is responsible for diagnostic MRI imaging and/or radiographic procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail.
Will perform a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment, with ingenuity and initiative in applying technical imaging factors and anatomical positions.
The MRI Technologist will demonstrate a professional approach in his/her work, with emphasis on patient care, while still maintaining patient safety.
Be responsive in the need to use proper radiation and MRI safety principles, both for the safety of the patient as well as themselves and co-workers.
Assume responsibility for designated area as required.
Patients served include infant through adult-geriatric.

Qualifications High School degree or equivalent (required) Graduation from an approved and accredited radiologic educational program (required) Registration from the American Registry for Radiologic Technologists (required) License as a Medical Radiation Technologist in the state of Maryland (required) MRI certification (preferred) CT scanning or diagnostic radiology experience (highly preferred) Current BLS certification or obtained prior to providing direct patient care (required) Additional InformationAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
Recommended Skills Basic Life Support Diagnostic Radiology Health Care Imaging Professional Attitude Radiology Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
